Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten cares for each student and their family. Your child will experience a safe, stimulating environment with the opportunity to discover new friends, develop an understanding of 'school life' and experience real life learning.

Learning environment

Our Kindergarten classrooms offer a variety of settings and experiences with learning centres, free and guided play areas as well as bathroom facilities. They are technologically rich featuring interactive iPads and whiteboards. Outside, our playgrounds are safe, fenced and offer opportunities for exploratory play as well as developing necessary gross motor skills.

Staff

Our staff includes dedicated and innovative Early Years teachers with dynamic teacher assistants. The staff working with each class varies according to the needs of our students. Parents are most welcome to assist in Kindergarten activities through our volunteer program.

Curriculum

We aim to prepare our Kindergarten students for school life and provide them with a solid foundation and a love of learning. We encourage our students to be curious lifelong learners through offering a varied indoor and outdoor program. We provide children with a sound introduction to fundamental early literacy and numeracy skills as well as encouraging their curiosity in our extensive outdoors through our Bush Kinder program. .

Kindergarten classes are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and enjoy programs by specialist teachers for Music, Japanese, Physical Education and Cooking.
